Kindness Day
We started the day talking about what kindness means and how to show kindness towards others. Students brainstormed different ways they can show kindness towards their friends.
After, students wrote kind words on paper leaves which will be displayed on a kindness tree in the auditorium

Today students learned the sound, action and song for the letter Ff. We watched bounce patrol and brainstormed words that have the f sound in it.

Unit of Inquiry: Sensational Senses
Students have been learning about their 5 senses. For the past week, students learned about their sense of sight and the different parts of their eyes. Today, students discovered their sense of hearing.
We watched a short video clip about the different parts of ears.
After, students listened to different noises and closed their eyes. Students were asked to pay attention to the different sounds they hear...

After, students drew pictures and wrote about the different things they heard outside during recess.
