Morning Routine: Our plant feeder is Surina for the week.
Students are really excited to see how much our succulent plants are growing! Phonics: Today we continued learning the short /e/ sound. Students are aware that the letter E makes two sounds. We are focusing on the short e sound. After, students completed a worksheet for the letter E. Journal: Students worked in their journals and wrote about 2 words that have the short e sound. Math: Today we continued with our math review. Mila is showing us one way to show the number 6. She drew 4 hearts and 2 circles. Students know that 4 and 2 make 6! Kai is showing us how to show 7 on a 10 frame. Students counted 7 counters on the 10 frame and know that 7 is 3 less than 10. After, students worked together and completed the missing numbers on the board. After students worked filling in the missing numbers individually.
