Morning Assembly
Today students spent the morning watching a presentation about Remembrance Day in the auditorium.
Music with Ms. Hayward
Phonics
Students continued to learn about the sound/letter Ll.
Students worked on a letter L worksheet. After, students worked in different literacy stations and practiced writing the letter L and by making words using magnetic letters.
Kai wrote his full name and mom and dad all on his own!
Victoria made a list of words that start with the letter L.
Devan spelled the word Lion using magnetic letters.
Farah can spell Love all by herself!
Math
Students completed the math patterning test

Syra brought in 2 toys. A unicorn for the long sound U and her toy, num-num for the short U sound!

Unit of inquiry
Today we continued learning about the eye. Students were asked to record items they saw outside during recess. When students came back to the class we created a list of objects they saw outside..
After, students colored in a picture of an eye and labeled the parts.
