After, students worked in their journals and made a list of words they learned this week.

We continued learning about picture graphs. Students are learning how to analyze graphs and describe what each graph is telling us. Students are enjoying collecting data and recording their findings

We took a vote to see what is the most favorite ice cream flavor. 

After, students worked in their workbooks and looked at a graph and were asked to describe the graph.

Unit of inquiry: Sensational Senses

Today we explored our sense of hearing further, students listened to different types of sounds while having their eyes closed. We recorded answers of what they think the sound is and then students voted.

After, I told students what each sound was. Students were surprised to find out what the sound actually was. 

The first sound students listened to was a lawn mower.

After, students made a list of words and pictures of things they hear outside.
