Today we continued learning about patterns. We reviewed what an AB pattern is. After, I created a pattern using 3 objects, students were asked to guess my pattern and tell me if it was an AB pattern.
Students know that my pattern was not an AB pattern because it had 3 objects in it. Students learned about ABC patterns.
Mila and Kai made an ABC pattern using blocks.
After, Students created their own ABC pattern

Pumpkin Investigation
Today, students did a pumpkin investigation where they looked, touched and described the pumpkin.
Students used their senses to touch the pumpkin and describe what it felt like.
Students described what the pumpkin felt like on the inside. After gathering all of the pumpkin seeds, we counted how many were inside. There were 412 seeds inside the pumpkin!
Students really enjoyed the pumpkin investigation activity!
