Phonics: Santa Letters
Students wrote letters to Santa today!
Students worked really hard and sounded out letters to words and wrote about what they wish for Christmas. Students also wrote about what they are proud of.
Math: Addition
Students continued exploring adding two numbers to create an addition story
We did a few together as a class and after, students created their own addition stories in their workbook.

Unit of Inquiry: Seasons
Today we explored winter! Students discussed the seasonal changes that happens during winter.
Students learned about hibernation and that some animals need to go to warmer places to stay warm during winter. (i.e, birds fly south, bears hibernate)
Students worked on a worksheet and drew different pictures to describe what happens during winter.
After, students went to the auditorium to practice for the Christmas concert
