Math: We started our new unit: Patterns
Students discussed what they knew about patterns. We completed a KWL chart (know, wonder, learn) as a class. Students know that a pattern is when you have 2 different colors or shapes and they change. After our discussion, students completed a patterning pre-assessment worksheet to see what they already know about patterns.

Unit of Inquiry: We finished our first Unit of Inquiry, sharing the planet.
Now we are working on our second unit of the year, How the Word Works.
In this unit, we will be focusing on seasonal changes and how it affects living things. Please look on the right tab for more information.
We talked about the different seasons of the year. We completed a KWL chart and students used prior knowledge and talked about what they knew about fall.

After, students drew a fall picture.

After, students worked in pairs and did some table activities.
