Students continued exploring measurement. Students selected 4 different size items and sorted them out in different ways. after, students presented their work with their friends.

We read a story about being happy. After, students shared stories about a time they made someone else feel happy and drew a picture.

Phonics: ou sound
Students reviewed the ou sound. After, we played a game. Students picked a word containing the ou sound and created a sentence.
Mila's sentence: I write in my journal
Syra: I have a mouth
Kai: There is a mouse in my basement
Aarna: I go out

Kaysha: We are at school for hours
Devan: Our house

Gavin: You can't be too loud

Farah: There is a cloud in the sky

Tarun: I count numbers
Surina: I have a money pouch

Victoria: Birds fly south

After our morning routine, students learned about the IB learner profile for this month.
Students discovered what it means to be balanced. We read a story and talked about why little pea was not balanced.
Students know that to be a balanced learner, they must make good choices, eat healthy and take care of themselves.



Our class plants are growing so much!




Math: Measurement 
Students continued to explore surface area. We estimated how many snap cubes it will take to cover a page. After, students worked with a partner to estimate in their workbook.

UOI: More Than A Feeling
Students are learning how to properly express themselves and the different ways expression can happen.
We read a story, "how to be a good friend". After, we talked about the different ways we can be good friends. Students created a friendship flower and wrote how to be a good friend on the petals.



After, we practiced our song and dance for arts night.
