Winter gear

Dear Parents,

This is just a friendly reminder to send your child with the proper winter gear to go outside for recess. Students go outside 2 times throughout the day. Students will only be kept indoors if the temperature is -18 degrees Celsius or colder, with or without wind chill.

Please remember to label all items and I’ll make sure to bundle up your child when going outside. J

After, we decorated the banner for the Christmas Concert.

Students continued to explore the winter season. We discussed all the types of activities people do during winter. Students talked about their favourite winter activity and wrote a sentence on a mitten.

Christmas Concert

The Christmas concert is tomorrow! We are all very excited and can't wait to finally perform our song & dance!

Please have students come dressed in their Christmas concert clothing for tomorrow as we will be having a dress rehearsal during the day (2 - 3pm) you are welcome to attend. (santa hat, red shirt/black pants or red dress)

Please arrive at 6:30pm and drop off your child to the classroom.

We started off the day practicing for the Christmas concert. We spent all morning in the auditorium practicing our song and dance, watched other classes perform and practiced the song for the finale.
