Journal & Phonics

We watched Jack Hartman's "th" song. After, we brainstormed words that have the "th" sound and students made a list of words in their journals.

Math: Toonie

Students explored the toonie. We learned how to skip count by 2's to 10.

Students worked with a partner to show the correct amount of dollars. After, students completed a worksheet to show their understanding.

Gym: We had gym in the classroom today. We danced and exercised to goNoodle  

Unit of Inquiry: Space

We are wrapping up our space unit! Today, students created their own unique planets. Students named their planets and presented their creation to the class.

Ms. Hung's grade.4 class came to read to the SK students this morning.

Today, students were introduced to the loonie. Students participated in a shopping activity game and completed a worksheet to show their understanding.

Unit of Inquiry: Space

Students used their knowledge about the sun, moon, earth and stars to draw pictures. after, we compared their initial drawings from the beginning of the term.

Space day date change

Space day is on Monday, April 9th. 

Please come to school dressed up as astronauts!
