Community helpers presentations

Tomorrow is career day!
Don't forget to come dressed up as your community helper!

Math: Time to The Hour
Students reviewed the difference between an analog and digital clock.
Students are able to tell time by the hour. We played a game on the board and after students created their own analog clock.

Students labeled the clock on their own!

Phonics: "or"
Students explored the "or" sound. We brainstormed words containing the "or" sound. After, students used play dough to create the letters.

After, students worked on various crafts of their choice!

Victoria wrote a poem all by herself! Good job!

Syra created her own Microsoft laptop!

Unit of Inquiry: Community Helpers

Students became chefs for the day! We explored the important parts of a chefs job, what they need to wear/bring with them to work. After, we went to the cafeteria and made rice krispies squares!
